Veterinary Specialty Center of Tucson is looking for a locum Neurologist to work June 13-14 and June 18-21, 2018. We have a busy caseload of medical and surgical neurology patients. Our 32,000 sq. ft. hospital was opened in July 2004 and features a separate emergency entrance and lobby, 16 exam rooms, 4 surgical and 1 dental suite, video-endoscopy, mobile and stationary color-flow Doppler ultrasounds, a large central ICU with oxygen cage, Pulmonetics ventilator, telemetry, portable ultrasound unit, in-house lab, spiral CT scanner, MRI, digital radiography, Iodine 131, and CO2, diode and therapeutic lasers. In addition to standard full blood analysis, our in-house lab equipment includes a colloid osmometer, lactatometer, coagulation monitoring (PT/PTT), microscope, and blood typing/crossmatching. We also have both noninvasive and invasive blood pressure monitoring, and continuous central venous pressure monitoring, as well as negative pressure wound therapy.
