Veterinary Talent Acquisition Specialist With more than 380 general, specialty and emergency small animal & equine hospitals, PetVet Care Centers is a nationwide veterinary network with a solid commitment to every community we serve.   Reporting to the Manager of Veterinary Talent Acquisition, the Veterinary Talent Acquisition Specialist will work closely with Hospital Medical Directors, Managers and our Operations team to attract, secure and retain exceptional veterinarians.   Responsibilities • Develop an understanding of the services, staff, equipment and opportunities in each location • Develop and maintain current, effective job listings and sourcing material • Coach local Medical Directors, Hospital Managers and Operations team members on recruitment best practices and local sourcing actions • Routinely update Operations and Talent Acquisition leadership on candidate flow, sourcing efforts, roadblocks to recruitment for each location and regional competition (job openings, advertised comp and incentives, etc); accurately track key recruiting and retention metrics • Drive in-network and external referrals • Source passive candidates via resume databases, LinkedIn, Facebook Groups and other connection tools • Work closely with Sourcing team to execute targeted campaigns and social media content • Stay current on new avenues to connect with talent • Conduct screening interviews • Assist hospital and Operations team leadership with interview scheduling and follow-up • Assist Operations team with offer formulation; compose, discuss and assist with the negotiation of employment contracts • Maintain relationships with regional campus contacts to build pipelines   Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of multi-unit veterinary recruitment, multi-unit veterinary management, veterinary sales or full cycle recruitment + experience in veterinary industry • Strong communication, multi-tasking and business partnering skills • Ability to grasp new platforms and software intuitively • Ability to self-direct • Ability to identify and grasp broad objectives • Experience with sourcing candidates via resume databases and social media platforms • Ability to consolidate information and actions into reportable formats • A personal style that demonstrates: • Attention to detail • Commitment to results • Resilience • Positivity   This is a full-time, remote position with travel required 2-6x per year for veterinary conferences. M-F workweek required.
